Physiotherapists help people affected by injury, illness or disability through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice. They maintain health for people of all ages, helping patients to manage pain and prevent disease. Our affiliated physiotherapists have graduated with a degree from a physiotherapy education program from an accredited university and are registered with the college of physiotherapists. They also continue to further enhance their education by participating in continuing medical education seminars.
The physiotherapists we work with believe in a dynamic, active approach to rehabilitation. Our goal is to provide our patients with the appropriate care necessary for a quick return to the pre-injury state. Our affiliated physiotherapists use a combination of ‘hands-on’ manual therapy techniques, acupuncture, laser therapy, shockwave therapy, electrical modalities, exercise programs, performance taping, education and keep abreast of new and upcoming treatments.
We value the importance of interdisciplinary care. Our team of physiotherapists, massage therapists, athletic therapists, kinesiologists and chiropractors work together to provide patients with the most effective care.
